Tenori-on and piano cover artist turned electro starlet ‘Little Boots’ has got some big hype to live up to. Formerly of Leeds’ very own ‘Dead Disco’, a fashionable rockabilly outfit for the Skins generation, comes Victoria Hesketh AKA Little Boots ready to take over the pop world with her infectious vocals and charming style. She’s currently working with Hot Chip and Simian Mobile Disco to create her debut album due out later this Autumn and is also about to embark on a country wide tour to support the release. Singles ‘Meddle’ and ‘Stuck on Repeat’ have helped her to claim her way to the blog playlists with their sexy yet innocent italo-disco attitude, something the manufactured pop suits should have been doing years ago.

Filling up YouTube with her own unique cover versions of Hot Chip and Alphabeat tunes, Little Boots is also a talented DJ in her own right, bringing a little bit of Soulwax double-act to her live shows and bumping up her musical curriculum vitae.
