Straight out of Russia comes ‘The Proxy’. Already having released two outstanding EPs ‘Decoy’ and ‘40 Seconds’, part three in his aural assault is ‘Raven’, one of the most hyped tracks of the summer. Simple in its execution, ‘Raven’ is a dirty baseline too far and comes in pounding your head against the wall screaming “Hey!” as you feel frantically uncomfortable with an itch to dance. Pound your feet and nod your head, but watch out for something more energetic to come along, like the Les Petits Pilous remix for example.
Although it’s hardly any different from the original, it adds that little bit of funk to the bass kicks and the synth glitches which frankly, just does it for me.
