Shazam’s Pool Party

Keeping with this recent new-disco kick, this is the new single from Shazam, who hails from Perth, Australia. The guy is only 19 years old and with remixes for Muscles, Empire of the Sun and Dizzee Rascal (remember the Calvin Harris collab?) already under his name, it just boggles the mind really!

‘Pool Party’, Shazam’s debut was released on Bang Gang on the 4th of March (which makes him label mates with my personal synth-sex weak spot Bag Raiders). The release features two versions of ‘Pool Party’ (‘2008′ and ‘2009′) as well as remixes from Headman and Rogerseventytwo and the B-side ‘Luckier’, which you can hear on his Myspace page.

On a side note, I checked out the Australian Ministry Of Sound Clubbers Guide the other day, I’m jealous of how amazing the scene is over there! you guys really know your electro music.
