Oh my,

Mr. Bassline himself is no stranger to fame. He’s the mastermind behind rock and rave live act ‘Partyshank‘ (who are just about to embark on a fairly massive UK tour). He also has worked on side project ‘I Will Shank You For a Penny‘ which focuses on retro video game sounds spliced together with modern bassline whomps and electro infused greatness, as well as main output A1 Bassline.

Although a figure shrouded in some level of secrecy, A1 Bassline has done some fantastic remixes for the likes of Frank Music, Esser, Rusko, The Qemists, Andy George and a bootleg for Yo Majesty! which ended up being released on Domino. In August 2008 we saw the release of his  fantastic debut EP ‘Girl Thing‘ which features vocals by Saffie.

This guy is definitely one to watch this year, i’m so hyped.
